I had always wanted to visit the uMhlanga Main Beach, so when I discovered that Umhlanga Cabanas was conveniently located near it, I immediately booked my stay. To my delight, the hotel also offered a range of amenities and services that added to my overall enjoyment of the trip. I particularly appreciated the fact that Umhlanga Cabanas had a bar, a 24-hour front desk, and a beautiful garden, which made my stay even more comfortable and convenient.
The Resort itself is pretty well located, if one doesn't mind the short walk to the beach. This should not happen with such reputable companies.

It was great stay for a family vacation in an unbeatable location with good service. Hosts were helpful and respectful, even gave us room in main bathroom. There's spa area and the pool is nice.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, with a nature reserve right nearby. We enjoyed taking walks along the promenade and the beach, which was just a short distance away. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was excellent, with porters helping us with our luggage. The self-service braai area was a fantastic convenience and allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meals. Plus, we even had a friendly visitor - a monkey! All in all, a very good place to stay.
The only downside was that as a smoker, I couldn't smoke on the balcony and had to walk quite a distance to find a designated smoking area. However, I understand the restrictions and made peace with it.

The hotel's decoration is simply charming, with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas are beautifully designed, and there's ample seating throughout the hotel, making it easy for senior people like me to rest and relax. The hotel is also easily accessible, with ramps and elevators available for those who may have trouble with stairs. It's wonderful to see that they have taken the needs of senior guests into consideration.
I would ask for more assistance from the children working there.
